Could be, James, could be. How you find these sites to bolster your
theories is amazing. Also fascinating. Pretty. I used to think that
the cemetary did a routine 3-month rotation of the whole cemetary just
to keep visitors guessing, through the use of a complex underground
mechanical system. Now I think your explanation is more plausible. I
got a letter from the folks there asking my permission to carve the
date of death into the stone. They estimate the job to take 10 to 12
weeks. Why? They're not painting the Sistine Chapel here. I have to
mail it back. This is about the most necessary, unavoidable and
unpleasant experience I've ever gone through. I rest every day just to
give myself a break. It helps. I also have the "unveiling" to plan
for. Btw, they now don't put a "cover" over the stone, so I don't know
why they still call it an unveiling. Judaism is changing. It's turning
into a form of Unitarianism. They mailed the letter, also, to Mrs.
Sally Drell. If my mother was Mrs. Rose Drell, and my last name was
Drell, how could I be Mrs. Drell too? They spoke to me; they know I'm
her daughter. I'm going to send them a note, begging them to be sure
the color of the engraved date is right. They're liable to use green
instead of the dark pink they're supposed to use. Well, maybe that
would make it easier to find the stone next time I go hunting for it.
I wonder what date of death I'll find carved on it. It'll be April
something. I'm not being cynical. There simply have been so many
mistakes, I'm paranoid now.
Thanks for letting me know how the markers moved, James. Today's
schedule: the dentist. I'm looking forward to it for comic relief.
Optimistically,
Sally
