On Sunday, she did a pants suit joke:  "It's not over until the lady
in the pants suit says it is,"   I don't know, I think she should face
the music.

Three things happened to me this weekend.  I went to the new Whole
Foods near my house.  It is only a couple of blocks away and I can get
there on my scooter.  It ihas been open about four months.  It is a
pretty big store and has a lot of hot foods and salads.  I
particularily like the macaroni and cheese and usually get it with
whatever chicken dish they have.  I also like the Chinese chicken and
rice dish.  I don't get too many groceries there as they are way too
vegan for me!

Anyway, I saw the guy put out a new pan of mac and cheese and went
over to get some.  There was a guy who got there first and that was no
big deal, I just waited until he was done.  But the guy took the spoon
and took off ALL the top layer of the mac & cheese - the crispy,
slightly burned part.  Or the best part!  I was shocked.  He made a
point to get it all and then stirred up the bottom to make it look
like it was natural.  It made me sick -- it ruined my appetite for the
mac and cheese and I skipped it and got something else.

As I mentioned in another thread, I did my wash this weekend for the
first time in my new apartment complex.  It was an okay experience
except it was VERY hot in the little laundry room and the little fan
didn't seem to be working.  While I was leaving on one of my trips,
somebody was walking down the hall and saw me open the door gasping
for breath and said to me, "Why don't you open the other door and let
the air in from the courtyard.  I was like, "The courtyard?"

She opened the door and, wa la, it opened to a courtyard with a
fountain and a lot of cool air.  I am looking at this and saying to
myself that next time I can just stay on the courtyard and read a book
or listen to music while my clothes are wa****ng.  At the same time I
am thinking this, she is saying it!  She was like you can stay here
and not make a million trips and you can just put your scooter out
here instead of in the hallway.  Good idea!

The third thing was my toilet broke Friday night and by Sunday morning
was getting disgusting and I called the maintenance guy and he came
out on Mother's Day to fix it for me!  Yeah!  I've been in the
apartment a week and the toilet has broken twice.

Maybe...not so happy about that!
