it was this ng that dragged me to the internet in the first place, back in
Oct. `94. I didn't know a newsgroup from an email from an archie search,
but I knew through my secret decoder ring that there was something called
a
newsgroup that had to do with the FST. I believe Elayne was the one to tip
me off. I got my "free" internet account when I returned to COLLEGE,
after
a 25 year break between my sophomore & junior years, and paying 10,000
BUCKS!!!! a year!!! I marched into the computer lab and FORCED the little
Comp. Sci. major lab assistants to "help" me get to this ng! *wink* and
as
they say, The rest is herstory!
And BTW, I LOVED alt.worms.out.of.a.hot.cheese-log !!!!!!!!! For the name
alone I felt it was wonderful!! I do remember the flames though. You did
have fans, nameless, faceless fans!
