mariah is so not the new elvis! what's with entertainers now days that they must compete with elvis?

poor elvis, dead nearly 31 years and these wannabes coming in and 
challenging something that isn't to be challenged.

well wait!


elvis had a serious battle in the 50s with the mainstream and won!   
(elvis 
was even called the N word because many mainstream whites didn't like that

effect that elvis was using black music and acting 'non white'  which
scared 
many and even provoked violence.)   elvis was punished on many levels for 
that.

elvis went into the army...  again another thrust against his stature.... 
then he came back with open arms to the public..   crisp, fresh and 
welcomed.

then those dreaded movies... elvis continued on..  his career now laying
to 
waste and elvis still punching out and retaining many fans....

then here's the clincher....

elvis makes an astounding comeback..  against the dialog and structure of 
what the colonel wanted... elvis along with new faces and talent wiped 
across the map a real big comeback with fresh, new and invigorating THUMP,

even the kids love elvis and he makes it on the cover of the rolling 
stone...

and after a very dreadful, health destroying and career rotting movie 
endeavor that almost lasted too long.

and elvis retained the 70s even though it was vegas style...   under the 
reign of terror or bad and out of style management.. elvis still had hits
up 
to 72/73.  (top ten to #1.)

um.. mariah isn't elvis...  nor does she or the others who've played this 
trick/game come even near a galaxy of elvis.


says much about elvis's power even to this day 31 years nearly being

that these people dare compete.

mariah, keep it up..   did you see what happened to madonna?   ricky
martin? 
and unmentionable others who tried to kick elvis in the naynays?   it's a 
career ruiner..

sorry,  to compete with someone who's not been able to make a #1 hit
because 
they're DEAD!  isn't material you should be using to enable your career
let 
alone validate your existance.

mariah carey should be firing some of her staff over this.
