As you all know,
in 1971 Elvis received the award because he was among the ten most
outstanding young men of that year.
I'd like to know if the famous Jaycees Speech was written by Elvis
himself; (apart from the lyrics of the song "without a song").
And also, was it an Elvis' idea to mention those few lines of that
song?
I have to say that , even if the speech is very short, I find it very
sincere and simple, so suitable to him, and it touches me a lot.
