Hulk, you know I was just thinking that
Flaming Star was first meant for Marlon
Brando and Elvis replaced Brando so well.
That, imo, was a comment on Elvis' ability -
to replace Brando. Now, in a movie first
intended for Elvis and then given to Kristoferson, that should also be a
comment
on Elvis' acting ability. Kristoferson wrote some
great songs; but, I never saw him as a singer
or an actor!
