I'd kind of like to see it too, but I made the decision a month or so ago

would have to pass this one up as I have a few other commitments. Plus it
burns me a bit to see him playing LA the day before SF - it happens every
time: he gets here, can't sing, and apologizes for having ruined his voice
in the LA smog the day before. I think one time out of the five I've seen
him, he played SF before LA and his voice was great.
Well, I will make a concerted effort to see the next one, when it will no
doubt be with some long-forgotten country or jazz great that I've never
heard of and don't much care for. Then in 2012 I will see him with the
Attractions again. Until then, my 40 or so CDs will have to tide me over!
