I'm talking about the version that appeared as the b side to Nick's
little hitler 45 on radar. Basher and 16 all time lowes both feature
the later album version. I understand the track shows up on a 4 cd
nick lowe boxed set, but I'm hoping to spend $50 to get that one track
on CD. (I have the 45 version of it on vinyl.)
The song does appear on a brinsley schwarz anthology CD called cruel to
be kind, and I'm wondering if that's the same track that later showed
up as the b side to nick's little hitler? I would hardly be surprised
to find a brinsley track credited to nick on one of his solo 45s, but
wanted to see if anyone could verify this for sure. Does anyone have
that Brinsleys CD Cruel to be Kind? If so, can you check that track to
see if it is, in fact, the same one that appears as the b side to nick
lowe's little hitler on radar?
