Some friends & I met him in 1986 on the KOA tour in NYC, coming out of 
what I think was the Ed Sullivan theater where David Letterman now does 
his show.  My friend asked if I had anything we could give him--all I 
had was an AA battery in my pocket.  We handed it to EC as he was 
exiting the theater, and he said he'd save it for his pacemaker.  LOL!
