He's plenty big. Yes, his singing voice is a big part of it. What's
ironic is his recent albums have been pretty well received, they have
been fairly good, but let's not mistake any of them for his first
several. That's when his fans hung on every word & he seemed like a guy
really on the edge. Now, he's mainstream and though he is still good,
his lyrics aren't anywhere as interesting as his first albums. he wrote
about the world, now he just writes about lost love and related, and
he's done it to death. Doesn't sound that fresh no matter what the
genre.
