I thought last night's show was one of the best shows I had seen. The
audience was really into the show as Elton received standing ovations
after almost every song. If I was disappointed in anything from the
show, it was the lack of material from the eighties to the present,
except for the three songs he played. With that said, Believe was a
treat. I hadn't heard him sing that for some time now, and Madman
Across the Water was a treat as well. Elton was a bit quiet, other
than stating he would be playing three songs from Madman... and band
intros, he didn't speak very much. But what the heck, he really
rocked Bakersfield, and bottom line, that's what really counts.
