My ancestors came over on the Mayflower. Make that before the Mayflower,
then the Mayflowerites joined them. Signed the Declaration of
Independence. Fought in the Revolution and every war since then, with the
possible exception of the Spanish-American war but I'm sure there was a
distant cousin or somesuch involved in that. Am I allowed to say that the
US is a misogynistic country?  

Because it still is.
