Here is the set list from Kitchener last night (courtesy of the local
media).

1.Your Song (He called it his break through song)

2.Sixty Years On

3.The Greatest Discovery. (A song written Elton John said by Bernie
Taupin about the birth of his youngest brother)

4.I Need to Turn you on

5.Border Song

6.The Boy in the Red Shoes. (A song about a young boy with HIV. He
criticized the Reagan government for doing nothing to help people with
HIV and AIDS)

7.Daniel

8. Honky Cat

9. Rocket Man

10.Tiny Dancer

11. Mona Lisa's and Mad Hatters. (Sir Elton indicated both songs were
made famous again in the Cameron Crowe film Almost Famous)

12. Nikita (He said he hadn't played it in a while)

13.Philadelphia Freedom

14.Sacrifice (He thanked his extended family, the family of his
partner David Furnish, for being there. The crowd roared when he
reminded them they were Canadian)

15. Ticking  (A Song from the album Caribou about the gun violence in
the 1970's. He said its still relevant today)

16. Roy Rogers. (A song from "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road". He explained
he wrote the song from his experience going to the movies as a young
boy. He said at the movies there was a hero every week when he was a
child including cowboy Roy Rogers)

17. Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word  (Elton said he recorded the
song in Toronto in 1976)

18.Candle in the Wind

19.Guess That's Why They Call it the Blues

20.Levon

21. Carla Etude (A song he said was from an album called 'The Fox')

22. Tonight

23. Blue Eyes

24.Bennie and the Jets  (The crowd sitting in the floor seats rushed
the stage)

25.Crocodile Rock   (The crowd stood and danced)

Encore

26.I'm Still Standing. (After receiving a standing ovation Elton John
came back on stage signed autographs)

27.Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me  (He dedicated the song to everyone
in the audience and thanked them for coming)
