Oh! And rather than return to nearly unsalvageable tapes, I'd rather
see Elton totally remake "Johny B. Goode", by all means in disco style
but with a more interesting arrangement. And this time, he plays that
piano and POUNDS it, for instance like in the pleasingly overlong
fadeout of "Bite Your Lip". Ray Cooper and Paul Buckmaster are
absolutely welcome to attend. Maybe they could also rework
"Spotlight", the one likeable original on VICTIM OF LOVE. Laugh if you
want, but it could work!
