hi,

thanks to Pinder,
yes, i think so too... it plays also like Amstrad Elite, on which i
based look of explosions and color of the planets

there is no sound, no filled polygons, no save game or game setup...
its still mostly C.Pinder's code there, but im rewriting it so lots of
original stuff is already out and source code is a bit of mess, so i
dont suggest you invest the time in really playing it, instead you can
find original TNK, here:

http://public.planetmirror.com/pub/elite/elite-tnk/

or,

possibly the "best" classic Elite (Elite A) remake - Elite AGB:
http://www.geocities.com/quirky_2k1/games/elitea/index.html

i didnt get to play Elite AGB, but i played Elite A and i like all of
the ideas and changes Angus Duggan made to Elite. Pinder also was on
to include lots of Elite A stuff in Darkness falls, or so it would
seem

Elite A:
http://www.tardis.ed.ac.uk/~ajcd/beeb/elite.html

anyway,
do you think Zeewolf-like planet surface additional missions would be
good "extension" to Elite?

cheers
