I was at:
3 - Great Yarmouth - memorable for me mainly for being the first I
attended, and the first time I'd met most people there. Also the first
time I was introduced to the card game whose name I won't mention in
case I get given a penalty card.
4 - Ayr - most memorable was the Mallorean Murder Mystery which is
still the most impressive event at a tEC
5 - Milton Keynes - I remember one of the stranger conversations I've
had where we tried to discuss the results of the British Grand Prix
without mentioning the actual result, because someone was intended to
watch it later and didn't want spoilers. Therefore we ended up
substituting driver names for Eddings characters. I think Michael
Schumacher ended up as Torak.
(6 - I believe this was Reading, I wasn't there (although I did go to
a later AFE mini-meet in Reading), although I can't remember why now.)
7 - Durham I - I remember the singing along to "Once More, With
Feeling"
8 - Durham II - I remember AFErs shambolic attempt at playing cricket
as part of Itagne's attempt to educate Zandy in the s****t.
Therefore I think the next tEC would be 9, fitting in two in the next
ten months would be a bit much so I doubt we'll be able to fit tEC10
in anywhere.
