I had the first one as an e-book, and had nothing else left to read on
my ipaq on a very long and boring night ****ft.  So in my case, not so
much stubborn as bored, although I did want to read it in the hope
it'd improve.  Sad, really.  I wish he'd given up after the Tamuli.
"Leave 'em wanting more" would've been good advice from his
publishers...
