of the good guys, it was starting to seem pointless.
Althalus - 3 and that is being generous. the good guys get uber powerful
far
too soon. Each and every one of the bad guys could have been dealt with
inside the first 150 pages, but weren't because the little goddess said
so.
Thus she was responsible for the wars and megadeaths during the rest of
the
book. I didn't like it. Oh, and the ending was rushed and telegraphed when
the unopenable door was first mentioned.
Dreamers - minus 10. The first book was almost physically painful to read.
The characterisation had been replaced with "banter." "Be Nice." and "He
looked bleakly".
