I wonder on what scale? Is 10 the best book I've ever read, or is it 
the best of this set? 

I've applied the former, but you can easily normalize. 

Bel: 6
Mal: 4
BtS: 2
PtS: 2
Ele: 6
Tam: 4
RoA: 7

Dreamers: N/A 

Each series is treated as stand-alone; i.e. tRoA is under the 
assumption of not having read any of the preceding stuff (having read 
all the other books prior to tRoA rather ruins the effect, though).
