Re: Reading the Belgariad Again

Recently, a script from Ce` arrived, in which they said:

: I don't think I'd be able to read the scene with Ce'Nedra throwing
: coins into the grass without fuming and wanting to go compare it to the
: scene in Althalus to see if they *are* actually word for word.

Since the scene is purloined wholesale from one or both of twelfth
century French love-poetry and/or an incident during the Roman civil
war which ended the Republic and began the reign of Julius Caeser,
it wouldn't surprise me if they're pretty close.
