I've never timed myself, and I am guilty of skimming books
(particularly "easy-read" style ones, like his latest have been), but I
suspect I wouldn't be far off that time either....
Depends on the print size really ;)

Wise. Very wise. I wish I'd stopped there. I bought the Elder Gods,
read the next one from the library, got the third one out of the
library but only made it a few chapters in before giving up from sheer
boredom, and won't waste my energy picking up the 4th.

Am I the only one who, when they heard David Gemmell had died, wished
it had been Eddings instead? At least Gemmell could still write...
