Let met tell you about my day today. It's hot out here, 30 plus
degrees. If you were an icicle, you would have melted by now. If you
were a fire salamander with a high enough intelligence, you'd be saying
"mmm I like this". It's quite warm.
I am working, but like a proud government official, this means there's
always at least one internet window open; as was today, namely my
last.fm account. And a second window with a google search box for new
play-by-email games.
Then I noticed this google login thingie...and decided to give it a
try, naturally using my gmail account..and voila, there I was. And I
noticed this discussion link thingie and went on, and then found a
search button that "included newsgroups" - reason enough to jump back
in, my first stop obviously being ol'favorite Eddings.
I noticed a topic about the Younger Gods and immediately pressed reply
to unleash my unholy wrath upon it, but I was not allowed to because it
had been locked by a moderator; a google moderator I dare wager!
So I decided, eh, let's find an active topic then..and by lack of it
created this. So, to keep this message brief after a lengthy intro,
allow me to summarise with the following short notes:
- I still exist, fear me.
- I wonder if the Avocado is still there too.
- and the drybrats.
- I LARP.
- I have a lady.
- and a cat, to which I'm allergic.
- I call her The Destroyer.
(the cat, not the lady)
- After lengthy consideration, I've come to the conclusion that Johnny
Depp should play Belgarath.
- with Cher as Ce'Nedra.
- chocolate is bliss.
