In the first book of the Malloreon, Cyradis tells the group who is to go on
the quest and that for others to go will cause the choice to be in the
favor
of the Child of Dark. The people they are told to take are:
Garion, Belgarath, Polgara, Eriond and C'Nedra as well as:
The Guide - Kheldar
The Man who lived Twice - Durnik
The Man who is no man - Sadi
The Huntress - Liselle
The Woman who Watches - Poledra
The empty one - Zakath
So my question is, how is Beldin so involved in this? He is not listed as
one who should be with them (under sever penalty)and yet he is with them
almost always once they reach Mallorea. If anyone knows let me know.
