That's what you're meant to be doing - didn't they mention that?
I was migrating a friend's old W98 system to a new box with Vista
recently and found that there weren't any Vista drivers for the cable
modem so eventually gave up and put 98 on the new box only to find that
98 couldn't be made to understand the spanking new graphics card. So,
the solution, as always, was to stick W2k on it. That was a really fun
day.
