Is that the new retro 1401, or the original classic Golden Horde 1401
made for the Western market? The classic had a lot of style, but you
just can't get the parts these days.
I'm not so sure about the new 1401 - I've heard it has internal
combustion glitches, although they seem to have fixed the twin overhead
problems.
I think I'll play it safe and get a reliable second-hand 1970, unless
there's a low-mileage 1042 Hardecanute with original Saxon Restoration
(the ones with the eco-friendly ethelnol engines). I'll check the Used
Year Trader tomorrow.
