FH described most scenes in detail, down to the tint of the sun and
color of the sand. He said what hair and eye color almost everyone
had, even the shape of their face, what they're wearing and then there
is the ever present Atreides aquiline nose.
IMO there is no excuse for taking those kinds of liberties when it's
all written down for you.
