I suspect that the "suffering" of the group has far less to do with my 
presence than with the advent of the drivel written by the Pretenders to
the 
Throne, and the inevitable hordes of NKOTB's that those...books...would 
generate.  Moreover, I suspect that the fact that the group is still a 
newsgroup, rather than having migrated to a forum, has a lot to do with 
diminished discussions.  Why ARE you guys still on an ng?  Hell, I had to
go 
dig up a newsgroup reader to pop in and visit...
