She was "kidnapped" by Duncan to train the Corrino Prince, Farad'n in
Dune Messiah. Nothing like that happened in Dune.

The epigraphs in my versions are mostly from various books, some of
them are quotes.

It might help if you told us what edition you've read. As far as I
know there's not much difference in all the editions at all.
Sounds like you might be confusing Dune and Dune Messiah.
