What sort of questions are these? I wasn't aware there were any 'awareness
spectrum narcotics' in the real world, so isn't that rather a hypothetical
question? The underlying message of the book is something about how
villians
with Russian names get eaten by giant sandworms, and it doesn't say
anything
special about human evolution, except, I guess, that it goes on
indefinitely
and that it's a good thing.
