What if the Dende improved dragon balls are used and you get two wishes?
Can you wish as follows:

1) I wish for X to have an extended lifespan of Y. (or just live forever
with no further aging)
2) I wish for X to be restored to life.

Since X's lifespan is no longer maxed out the second wish should now work.
