The Gotham Pulp Collectors Club is having it's next meeting this Saturday
We talk about pulps, show recent acquisitions, talk about pulps, talk
about
pulp related movies, radio, comics, etc, talk about pulps...
Well you get the idea.
This year is the 75th anniversary of most of the pulp heroes, including
the
Phantom Detective (February), Doc Savage and Nick Carter (March), Lone
Eagle (September), the Spider and G-8 (October) and the 85th anniversary
of
Weird Tales (March).
We will be talking about all of these characters and more.
If you have an interest in pulps, come on down.
When: Saturday, May 10, 2008 (we meet every second Saturday)
from 1PM to 4PM (sometimes later)
Where: The Hudson Park Library, 66 Leroy Street, Manhattan, West Village
