just felt like making noise here, so ....
(no right or wrong answers.. just personal opinions)
1) favorite 'main' character, and why?
(for the sake of this, let's call main character anyone that actively
appeared for at least a season: goliath, broadway, brooklyn,
lexington, hudson, bronx, elisa, david, demona, owen, angela,
bluestone)
2) favorite stop on the avalon world tour ?
any other favorite categories someone wants to mention (favorite
moment, favorite villain, etc.) ...
For me:
1) this is a tough one.demona as a character she is just the most
complex out of them and, frankly, she is brilliant in terms of
hatching far-reaching ideas. watching her evolve from the first
episode through the seasons is nice.. she changes but ever so subtly
so that it isn't even noticed. once you understand that she is fueled
by so much pain, you can't help but understand her and feel
sympathetic.
(side note: I don't feel lexington, as a character, was ever given
much chance to develop - in comparison to the others. broadway too,
but he did have a little more dimension to him when his "partner-like
relation****p" to elisa and later matt was added.
2) Paris. the episode had so many love and loss themes rolled
together - demona-macbeth, demona-thailog, demona-angela.. something
about how it all weaved together for both story and character
developments really had me going.
(a close second would be the amazon one.. I don't know why, i am just
enamored by the vibrant colors given in the forest in that episode. i
also liked the way it gave us sort of a glimpse into the NY area at
the same time to remind us that stuff is happening at both places at
once)
