I always liked it, but in watching the
first four episodes again recently... I'm baffled at how hard it is to
watch as a 22 year old. I mean, I can still sit through Darkwing and
Duck Tales and be entertained for 22 minutes easily, but Goof Troop
seems to be not as watchable as I recall it being... oh well. Maybe
the later eps will pick up

I'm happy to say the later eps have picked it up for me. The first
four episodes I just found very hard to watch and sit through. Also,
the visual quality of the DVD wasn't all that good. Now the visual
quality's picked up a little, and so has the actual quality
entertainment content of it. I'm now up to episode 15, and I've seen
some rather good ones so far.
Hot Air
Take Me Out of the Ball Game
Cabana Crazy
Wreck, Lies and Video Tape
and of course, Max-imum Protection, the Home Alone-esque episode... man
this is the Goof Troop I remembered! Hopefully the quality remains
this good, but I heard later on the ep's focus on Pete mostly... he's a
good character, but I don't know if I want to watch 22 minutes of him
ep after ep.
I do like how he talks though "This is my vacation see!!"
And Pistol... man, she's too cute after all these years still.
