I'm now kind of keen on seeing this. I am a fan of Barry's film scores
(got every Bond one of his, and assorted others) and would like to
check out
this one. Don't understand why anyone thought a beard was a necessary
change for Pitt in this movie, though. Given the popularity of the
book,
I think a modern remake would be a good idea, especially if the
existing
movie (which I still haven't seen) isn't considered very good. Maybe
Matthew McConaughey will make that his next project :)
