Well, you are assuming "happily", but obviously there was a level of
happiness that didn't exist until her realization, the true awakening
of her libido. This happens with hetero***ual women too, whose
libidos don't truly awaken, and ***ual imprinting on a member
of the opposite ***, til after they've had many ***ual experiences
and relation****ps...which were initiated by others.
   Willow wasn't ****trayed as one indifferent, or only involved out
of curiosity. Had they done this to Cordelia, who seemed clearly
motivated mainly by social status rather than ***ual desire in
her relation****ps (prior to the rather unconvincing make-out with
Xander) I'd have said the writers had more of a case.
