Yes, and in the Jenny Callendar retcon, the episode was unusually
badly written and directed. Following episodes seemed to be doing
patch-up to make the retcon fit her known character. Which makes
me suspect that the retcon was one ordered from on high, the larger
team didn't go for it, so he had to depend upon one, bad writer to
do the dirty work "necessary".
