I hope it will prove possible to say the same of Elmore Leonard,
perhaps my all time favourite author, after the disappointment of his
last book, 'Tishomingo Blues'. (And, to a lesser extent, a couple of
other earlier ones that lacked the bite of virtually every book before
those, whether crime or western.)
