Wish granted, Sea Wasp:  Cussler announced in December 2002 that he was
retiring.  Alas it was only a rumour, but it does appear that actual
writing and publi****ng in the Dirk Pitt series will be passed on to
Cussler's son, ironically named Dirk, while Cussler turns his hand to
other
projects.
