Digimon Data Squad

by "Chet Weaver - Now with Outlook Express!" <zeroohki@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Oct 2, 2007 at 10:29 AM

Is it just me, or is this season a little more bad-ass than the others?

Okay, it's probably just me. I missed it at 8:30, so I caught it at 1 AM
after Sci-Fi's Ani-Monday. I may have been too tired to know the
difference. Still, I thought it was pretty cool seeing a Digimon series
again after so long.

I almost bought the "training to be an Ultimate Fighter" excuse that I'm
pretty sure the dub invented to explain why Marcus fights random street
thugs. That is, until he said the 15 or so random street thugs he beat up

were also training for the UFC on his turf. I can understand Disney
trying
to make him seem like less of a delinquint, but I don't think there's much

you can do to make him not encourage young kids to beat each other up.

And what's up with that hair? He's got, like, a ponytail on top of a
mullet.

"So what if he's richer and more powerful than me? I'm really good at
card
games, and that's all that really matters!"
-- Chaz, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

"It's the abominable snowman! And I don't think he appreciates my
honesty!"
- Shaggy, "Chill Out, Scooby Doo"

"Ha ha! It's funny 'cause it's treason."
- Stephen Colbert

I need to put some Digimon data down here...
