Digimon Savers/Data Squad

by ~nightmare sky <burnwickedwitch@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Aug 7, 2007 at 10:28 PM

We need to revive this group, IMO.

So guys,

What are your opinions on the current known changes from Digimon
Savers to Digimon Data Squad. Personally I believe at this time there
is no reason to change Japanese names into cliche, American ones.
Children probably won't have a hard time pronouncing them if they hear
the name frequently hear it on the show. You have to remember that
little kids pick stuff up easier then adults. Languages, anyone? y,
and the name chance was pointless. What the hell was the point in
changing the name.

If I was smart, I would aim this show was preteens to teenagers. To
me, it is pretty clear they are going to dumb the dubbed version down
for a younger audiences. Then again, shows like Teen Titans and
Avatar's fanbases usually lie from the ages of eleven and up. People
would be smart, considering that there are still a fair number of
teenagers and adults who still enjoy cartoons. Of course, Digimon has
already been labeled a children's cartoon series.

I.want.to.hear.your.opinions.
