Brave New World was obviously a piece of socialist propaganda and painted
a very
bad picture of fascism (although it really depicted a totalitarian state).
 A
properly structured fascist state wouldn't look or feel that much
different than
the United States does now, except the fear level would drop by about 99
percent.

Wouldn't you like to be able to walk down the street of any major city in
the
country in the middle of the night without fear of predators jumping you
and
stealing from you?  You built those cities, you know!  Why let animals run
loose
in them?  Wouldn't you like to see the smartest minds in the country
working for
you, rather than against you to try to rip you off?  Wouldn't you like to
see
poverty and want eliminated from this country, with no old people or
children
going hungry or homeless?

You would have to give up a few things, of course.  But they're things you
have
mostly given up already, anyway, and you won't even miss them.  Foolish
old
notions of "freedom" that don't really exist in a technological society. 
You
have to give up the idea that you can have as many children as you want. 
No
more crack moms squeexing out kids so she can get more welfare money.  You
may
need to devote a few years of your lives in service to the State (not like
a
slave, though, you'll be compensated), perhaps in organized militias or
construction teams -- physicians and lawyers will contribute to the
government
free legal and medical administrations.  You -- or I should say the
rampant
criminal element in the country -- would need to learn that breaking the
law has
more serious consequences than they're used to.

But there will be nothing to stop you from attaining your personal goals. 
You
can wor****p in whatever church you want; that wouldn't change, although
your
local church may have to pay taxes to the State.  Your travel will likely
be
less restricted than it is now.  It will be so much easier for you to
raise
healthy, well-educated children in safety.  Maybe even children with
superior
genetic advantages.  Children who will live long, strong lives.

Just don't let terrible mistakes made by zealots in the past cloud your
opinions
of what a well-structured and organized fascist State can do for you and
your
family.
