   I believe the conscience resides in the subconscious. I am looking at 
the larger picture of the internal workings of his mind and going under 
the assumption that he has effectively shut down, boxed in, or is lying 
to his conscience and, like the rest of the evil bastards he's backing, 
are operating without one. I believe that the undeniable truth of the 
evil inherent is this scam is effecting his performance.
