Among the Varsity on a recent show was an author (for lack of any
other identifying characteristics, I'll mention that the author was a
'black' guy) of a book on contemporary music and, I believe, movies
and/or TV. I got the impression that the author's opin was that
'modern' stuff wasn't of the -- shall we say -- 'highest quality.'
If any one can identify the author I would be thankfull.
