Miller Time at CNBC
It looks like CNBC has high hopes for comedian-turned-conservative
commentator
Dennis Miller, with the cable net turning its regular schedule upside down
to
accommodate the one-time Saturday Night Live star.
CNBC announced on Monday that it's moving its Wall Street show "Kudlow &
Cramer" from 8 p.m. ET to 5 p.m. and is canceling "Business Center,"
hosted by
financial gurus Ron Insana and Sue Herrera, according to the Hollywood
Re****ter.
Insana will instead host "Street Signs" at 2 p.m. daily, with Herrera
moving to
another CNBC financial analysis show, "Power Lunch," in the noon to 2 p.m.
slot.
Miller's cable TV star began to rise earlier this year, when he snagged a
regular gig on the top rated Fox News Channel show "Hannity & Colmes" that
producers dubbed "Miller Time."
He even filled in on Hannity's nationally syndicated radio show, where he
was
confronted by surprise caller Matt Drudge over his decade-old SNL
commentary
attacking Rush Limbaugh.
Miller's new show CNBC show is slated for the 9 p.m. weeknight slot,
directly
opposite "Hannity & Colmes."
