	I looked that book up on Amazon.com. To my shock, it does
exist. However, it has been rated an average of 2 of 5 stars (from 80
reviewers). Only 20 of the reviews gave it above 2 stars (1 of those
was 3 stars). Four of those 20 were posted within days of each other
from the same city (Bloomington, IN) and all have the same tone
(leading me to think the same person wrote all 4). Two of those 20 (1
is quoted below) actually slam the book in the write-up. Seven people
said they would give the book 0 stars if they could. 

	Here are some comments from those reviews:

(1 star) "Wow! This guy has an impressive religious resume doesn't he?
An Alexandrian Wiccan, a Druid, a member of the Church of All Worlds,
a member of the Church of Satan, a Mormon, a Catholic Priest, a
Christian Fundamentalist. I don't believe any of his credentials. It's
apparent that he thinks pretty much everyone is a Satanist. I'm still
a little confused on who exactly he thinks is a true Christian though.
If a Catholic is actually a Pagan (and therefore a Satanist), and a
Mormon is a cult member, someone please tell me who the real
Christians are. I will say that this book was an interesting read, in
the sense that I now know how extreme some people can be in the belief
that their way is the only way." A reader from Holly, MI United States

(1 star) "I would like to point out that there are a growing number of
Evangelical Christian researchers, including Craig Hawkins and the
folks at Cornerstone Magazine, who don't feel his guy is very
credible. If you won't listen to Wiccans or read anything they have to
say, look up Mr. Hawkin's essays and you'll see he does not give this
supposed 'ex witch' much credence. I think he said that this guy was
'not very useful' or words to that effect in the search for the truth

narrow minded. While I understand that the author has had an
interesting alternative lifestyle for quite sometime I find his

Mason. His writings also say he found Christ while he was a Mormon...
and also, yes! He found Christ while he was a Witch! Amazing! This man
was a Wiccan, a Mormon and a Freemason all at the same time! Either
that or he's seriously confused. Or not quite telling the whole

(1 star) "anyone who knows anything about the Gnostic church or Wicca
knows that it takes YEARS to reach either position he claims to have
reached...As for the fundamentalists out there: If you enjoy the idea
that everyone who is not of your religion is doomed to hell, than by
all means laugh and mock us. But please don't try to convert us. Its
not very Jesusesque to judge and prosecute people of other religions."

ufos to cross-breed with humans to create a new breed of demons.

convoluted twist to give the fundamentalist Christian book market what
it has wanted since the author of 'The Satan Seller' was proven a
fraud..... something to use against those who find their truth in
pre-Christian spirituality...I have worked with many Wiccan/Pagan
groups and individuals in the Midwest, and have never known anyone who
has heard of Mr. Schnoebelen. If his claims of having been a Wiccan
Priest are true, I find that a bit odd...As for Mr. Schnoebelen's
claims that Wicca and Paganism are virtually modern practises, with no
true roots in ancient history, I would ask him whether he's ever heard
of the Druids, the Strega or the Vikings? (Not to mention the many
indigenous tribal paths that are enjoying a resurgence, such as
American Indian, African, etc.)...I must say that I find today's
Pagans far more akin to genuine followers of Christ than most
contem****ary Christians, who are actually following the teachings of

two years, if the author is to be believed in his other literal works,
he has managed to be: 1. A Catholic Priest. 2. A High degree Mason. 3.

finally an evangelical Christian. He's supposedly been in these
religions (and has reached a suspiciouly high place in each of them)
in a period of only about 50 years...It's unlikely that a man who has
been a Wiccan high priest would not understand the most basic of

for! I love people from all walks of life, Jewish, Moslem, Hindu,
Pagan, or anything else! Jesus WAS a Jew, and I'm appaled that this
man has the nerve to call himslf Christian. It's people like him who
make people turn away from Christianiny and look for more open ways.
Of course people will think we're close-minded if we publish drivel
like this! To all good Christians, follow a path of love. We shouldn't
push ourselves on others, lest we lend ourselves to wickedness." A
