I hope that things are moving on a little from there now. One thing, one
truism that always sticks in my mind, is from the film "Crocodile Dundee"
when he is asked if they have therapists where he comes from, and he
replies
"No we have mates"

And I think that's im****tant, someones' mate would tell them the truth, or
should I say the truth as they see it, and I feel that is part of the
therapists job, to give their opinion.

Well I can believe it, and yes I would agree it is probably to do with
situations where people are raking in money for treatment.

I know one woman here, and she had a counsellor who she thought was
brilliant, because the counsellor would let her call any time during the
day
or night and "give her quality listening time!" Yuck! She also amassed a
fee
of £60,000 in three years. I was perfectly prepared to attempt to expose
this counsellor for the money grabbing ***** she was, then I found out
she'd
died in the meantime.

There are some very dangerous people out there.

It really does need the profession to start regulating itself, especially
these so called christians who indulge in therapies which are little more
than brainwa****ng into a dependency on the religion concerned.
