Conan: The Musical - To Reunite A Nation

by nebusj-@[EMAIL PROTECTED] (Joseph Nebus) Feb 16, 2008 at 01:59 AM

Conan: The Musical is indeed a real thing, to answer the query
which dominates the start of Friday's show, at lest to the extent such
things can be said to be real. (And I find that I discovered this about
seventeen months ago, which is interesting, albeit only to me, because
my week has been dominated to this point by something else which I first
learned about seventeen months ago.)

From the East Valley Tribune Dot Com, which appears to be based
in metropolitan Phoenix, Arizona:
		http://www.eastvalleytribune.com/story/73988
four Arizona State University students started out with a 13-minute
short imagining what if Conan lost his funny, and describes how he got
it back.

The official site, including a local-newspaper containing a
review of the effort, is at:
		http://www.conanmusical.com/

And the trailer which Conan watched tonight and which left him
looking as if he'd been slapped with a fish is at:
	http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-543307437498454153

The current Official Trailer, and a bit more complete about just
what's going on, is at:
	http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2pa1mTmkbQ

(And it's looking really professional too.)
