Violent Midnight (1964)
"When a beautiful model (Kaye Elhardt) ends up dead, all eyes turn to
Elliott Freeman (Lee Philips), an artist who was the last person to see
her
alive. But for Elliott's frazzled attorney (Shepperd Strudwick), proving
his
client's innocence grows infinitely more difficult when a second corpse
(Lorraine Rogers) washes ashore. Can an intrepid detective (Dick Van
Patten)
track down the real killer before Elliott takes the rap?"
For a 1964 general release film Violent Midnight (aka Phycomania) has
considerable tasty T&A. The plot is fairly interesting, but I just don't
buy the killer. The DVD release has a good directors commentary track.
