Thanks for the info. As far as the low-traffic around here, that's a
shame.
Stop me if I'm 'out of order' but it would be nice to be able to have
ongoing discussions about - mainly GAL - but anything CE. I see we're a
small group - but that doesn't mean we can't have interesting dialog about
Mr. Elliott.
My concern is - anything I want to comment on has probably been discussed
to
death. My fault, I just discovered this group so I'm way behind.
If it's any consolation, I'm certainly willing to participate in any
thread
you may wish to re-discover or re-hash. In short - I'm happy to have found
a
few decent folks to talk to about Chris' UNIQUE humor nor does it matter
what the subject is - GSL, Letterman, etc. One thing I've noticed - and
this may NOT apply to me - but I've found that most folks that appreciate
CE's 'take' on life, comedy and his nutty characters all seem to have one
thing in common - Chris' humor is not for the feeble minded. Sure, I'm
certain some jokes are universally funny - but Chris' best work usually
has
a reference to History, Politics, Art - you name it. Maybe that's why I
find
his work so timeless - it's very well written.
Okay, I've rambled enough - thanks for reading. (Or deleting as the case
may
be.)
Have a great weekend,
Mike T.
