thanks "somebody".... i appreciate the info... if anyone comes across
any info on how i could get in touch with him or if he is anywhere near
nowhere KY (fat chance), please let me know. I am absolutely baffled by
the support Chris gets in an almost cult-like following.. and to think
i thought i was the only one in the world who actually has almost every
episode of GAL on VHS (fingers still crossed about the box set). He
truly is a very funny guy who has never found his niche and has been
almost exiled from the hollywood scene.
an interesting sidenote to anyone who doesn't know... if you do a
search on NPR.org, you can find an interview with chris on the new book
(most of it is similar to the daily show with jon stewart, but there is
a bit more substance) as well as an interview he did previously about
the book he and his dad wrote together (which i am now scouring ebay
trying to purchase)... so check those out. (also there is another
interview with another man by the name of chris elliott who is talking
about terrorism and holiday travel... not too funny, but interesting
none-the-less).
